Depends upon the volume of fat removed and the type of procedure done. Most of the times patients are discharged same day or the next day. Patients can join their routine activities 2-3 days after the surgery. However patients are required to wear pressure garments for next few weeks.
Any major side effects?
Some swelling and bruising is expected after the procedure. However when executed well the procedure brings excellent results with minimal side effects. Best results are seen about 6 months from the procedure. Otherwise liposuction is safe provided it is done by a properly trained proffesional.
